Getting the Details Right
Now, doing it this way comes with a few hurdles. Using connectors instead of solder joints can sometimes create a bit of resistance, which means heat. To fix that, we used high-conductivity alloys for the terminals so they don’t overheat. We also opened up the ventilation gaps in the housing. It’s a simple tweak, but it keeps the plastic from warping while making sure the swap stays easy.
