What matters, technically
With infrared, the element is only the start. The reflector finishes the job. We use a parabolic profile shaped by geometric optics to collimate the beam and spread it evenly, so hot spots and cold corners disappear. You end up with more usable radiant heat per watt, which means you feel cozy sooner without cranking the thermostat. The heating core is a long-life carbon fiber element inside a sealed quartz tube—chosen for fast response and steady output over thousands of cycles. The whole front assembly is IP-rated waterproof, so steam and splashes don’t kill the heat. Inside, a thermostat holds the set temperature, and tip-over protection cuts power if the unit gets knocked off course.
Why it works in a bathroom
Bathrooms are small, humid, and they change temperature fast. Convection heaters warm the air first, which takes time and tends to stir moisture around. Radiant heat warms people and surfaces directly, so the floor feels less biting and the room feels even sooner. With the reflector tuned for uniform coverage, you get comfort across the vanity and the shower zone—not just in one narrow beam. That balance helps you use less energy by keeping heat where it matters, and it keeps the mirror from fogging as quickly.
What you need to know
This is a radiant electric heater, so placement matters. Put it where it can cover the key spots—near the shower entry and the sink—without being blocked by shelves or curtains. It needs a dedicated, grounded outlet on a circuit that can handle the load, and for a permanent, safe install, it should be hardwired by a qualified electrician. The IP rating protects against water ingress, but the unit isn’t built for direct water spray or submersion. Keep the clearances clear, and you’ll have dependable warmth, day after day.
